As part of our dermatology service, we also offer intrademal skin testing  and serological allergy testing  for the treatment of atopic skin disease (allergy) by immunotherapy.

Treatment of  pet skin and ear disease accounts for a large proportion of the work in a typical small animal veterinary practice. Successful  management of these disorders is often hindered by the lack of time that the average veterinary surgeon can spend on  obtaining  a complete history,  performing  a full clinical and dermatological examination  and  carrying out appropriate diagnostic tests.

As a service to the pet owners  the east and west midlands, Leicester  Veterinary Dermatologist,  David Bentley, has set up the Dermvet Skin and Ear clinic for the diagnosis and treatment of  cat and dog skin disorders.
